which have about 500,000 harpoon-shaped needles that inject microscopic darts, that pump you full of a neurotoxin that causes a burning sensation and excruciating pain, and attacks the nervous system, heart and skin at the same time. The tentacles are known to detach when they are wrapped around you. It has an extremely strong venom and is known for its excruciating sting. I met up with underwater film maker Ben Crop and together, our goal was to capture a few of these jellyfish and test out a new pain remedy to see how well it works on Box Jelly stings.
